KEY POINTS:
KINGSTOWN, St Vincent - Defending champions Australia completed an easy five-wicket win over England on Friday in their final warm-up match before the start of the World Cup next week.
Vice-captain Adam Gilchrist struck 72 on his return from paternity leave and fellow-opener Shane Watson 55 as Australia reached their victory target of 198 with 9.1 overs to spare.
England made a bright start with captain Michael Vaughan scoring 62 and Ian Bell stroking 56 before collapsing from 122 for one to 197 all out from 48.3 overs.
Fast bowler Shaun Tait was the most successful of the Australian bowlers with four for 33 from 8.3 overs.
Meanwhile, Younis Khan and Mohammad Yousuf shared a century stand to guide Pakistan to a seven-wicket win over South Africa in their warm-up match in St Augustine today.
South Africa, who lost the toss and were put in to bat, were dismissed for 199 on a pitch that their captain, Graeme Smith, and their coach, Mickey Arthur, slammed as "unfit".
Pakistan cruised to a reply of 200 for three in 44.3 overs.
Play was held up for seven minutes while Arthur and his Pakistan counterpart, Bob Woolmer, came onto the field after 16 overs had been bowled to discuss the state of the pitch with umpires Peter Parker and Ian Gould.
"Mickey and Graeme both consider the pitch unfit for play," South African media manager Gordon Templeton told reporters.
