The Australian cricket team has routed the West Indies on the first day of the first test at Brisbane.
The tourists were bowled out for 82 shortly before tea at the Gabba.
Australia quick bowler Glenn McGrath was the principle destroyer taking 6 wickets for 17 runs from 20 overs.
Put into bat by Australia, the West Indies reached 45 for two at lunch, but after the break they lost their final seven wickets for 29 runs.
Captain Brian Lara was the first of his side's five ducks, opener Daren Ganga top-scored with 20.
In reply, Australia are two without loss.
