Cricket: Walker to captain Auckland again

Auckland cricket today announced leg-spinner Brooke Walker would captain the Auckland Aces for his fourth successive season.

Convenor of selectors Mark O'Donnell said Walker was the obvious candidate.

"It provides us with continuity. He wants to be captain and he's developing his own style of captaincy after three years in the role."

Meanwhile coach Wally Stamp named the Auckland women's team for the 2004/05 domestic season.
