Legspinning allrounder Brooke Walker has been named Auckland Cricketer of the Year.
Walker toured England with the New Zealand team last year, and played for New Zealand A against England A.
During the Shell Cup, he took 13 wickets at an impressive 3.73 runs-an-over economy rate. He followed up with 21 Shell Trophy wickets at 28.85, and hit 296 runs, at 37.25, including his maiden first-class century.
New Zealand captain Emily Drumm and Aaron Barnes were named women's and men's Batsman of the Year.
Munokoa Tunupopo was named Women's Bowler of the Year, in a season in which she made her New Zealand debut, and took the best figures of the season at representative level, 7-19. Tama Canning won the men's award.
