Cricket: Vaughan will miss out

England cricket captain Michael Vaughan is set to miss the rest of the tri-series as he struggles to recover from a hamstring injury.

Vaughan suffered the injury in England's second game - and only win against New Zealand - of the series and was expected to miss only a week.

However, the injury has taken longer than expected to heal and although England management said he was close to playing yesterday against New Zealand, wicketkeeper Paul Nixon revealed he was unlikely to play again in the series.
