LONDON - New Zealand batsman Roger Twose has moved up to third place on the world one-day cricket ratings released yesterday after a string of big scores this year.
India's Sourav Ganguly's is ranked the No 1 one-day batsman, followed by Michael Bevan, of Australia, according to the PricewaterhouseCoopers rankings.
Nathan Astle has slipped four places to 13th on the list behind Lance Klusener, of South Africa, but ahead of Brian Lara, of the West Indies.
Chris Cairns is up three places to 28th while Chris Harris is 34th, Stephen Fleming 35th, Craig McMillan 50th and Adam Parore 63rd.
Harris is New Zealand's top-ranked one-day bowler at 24th, while Australian Glenn McGrath remains top and Sri Lankan Muttiah Muralitharan has moved up to second.
Daniel Vettori is 27th, Cairns 32nd, Geoff Allott 35th, Astle 49th and Dion Nash 58th.
