New Zealand Cricket chairman Sir John Anderson could be in contention to steer the sport's global body following the death of International Cricket Council president Percy Sonn.
Anderson - who heads the TVNZ board - is reportedly one of two options to be acting president at the ICC's annual meeting in London next month.
ICC chief executive Malcolm Speed told Britain's The Times that either Anderson or Malaysian prince Tunku Imran would fill the role.
