KEY POINTS:
Northern Districts teenager Tim Southee and Wellington's Jesse Ryder have been picked for the New Zealand XI to play Bangladesh in a Twenty20 cricket game in Hamilton on Sunday.
The New Zealand XI, who will be captained by former skipper Stephen Fleming, is mostly made up of current Black Caps.
Also included is Canterbury batsman Peter Fulton who has missed the early part of the international season after recently undergoing surgery.
"The game will be an opportunity for a number of Black Caps to play ahead of their series against Bangladesh," selection manager Sir Richard Hadlee said yesterday.
Hadlee said the game would also mark the last time Fleming would captain a New Zealand team in a limited overs game. The match is part of efforts to fund raise for World Vision's Cyclone Sidr relief efforts.
