The New Zealand Players Association has serious concerns about New Zealand cricketers taking part in next month's Indian Premier League.
Players Association boss Heath Mills says after reviewing the independent security report, he believes India is a long way from guaranteeing player safety.
"We have communicated that to our players and our players are all up to speed with the content of that report. Together with us they remain concerned about travelling to India."
In a united approach, the players associations from New Zealand, Australia, South Africa and England will contact the IPL directly with their concerns.
Shane Bond, who is set to earn $1 million from his IPL contract, says it is too early to make a decision.
"You have to listen to what everybody says. So because it is still a month, things can change. I'll only make a decision closer to the time that I'm due to go."
It is now up to the IPL and the Indian Government to alleviate the concerns of the world's best cricket players.
