Rain washed away any chance of a result in today's Twenty20 cricket match between Auckland and Otago.
Just 2.1 overs were possible at Colin Maiden Park in Auckland before the rain intervened with the home side at 15 without loss.
The rain did not go away, leading to the game being abandoned, with both teams earning two points for their limited efforts.
That leaves Auckland atop the standings on 18 points, two ahead of Northern Districts, while for winless Otago it represented their first points of the season.
