South Africa leads by 63 runs with 2 first innings wickets in hand after three days' play in the second cricket test against New Zealand at Port Elizabeth.
At stumps the home side was 361 for 8. Neil McKenzie was the main contributor for the Proteas, scoring 120 to post his maiden test century.
McKenzie combined with Nicky Boje, who is 51 not out, to add 136 runs for the eighth wicket.
For New Zealand, Chris Martin has had the most success with the ball, snaring three wickets, while O'Connor, Astle, Walmsley, Walker and McMillan have picked up a wicket each.
