Play has finally resumed in Sunday's one-day cricket match between Australia and India at the MCG.
After several failed attempts play was restarted at 6.18pm - more than three hours after the players left the field.
The game was shortened to 32 overs per team.
Rain stopped play early and Australia were in trouble at 2-35 from 11 overs after losing the toss, with opener Matthew Wade unbeaten on 21 in his one-day international debut and captain Michael Clarke not out five.
Wade had temporarily broken the shackles in the two balls before the players left the ground, hitting a six and a four off Praveen Kumar.
