Cricket: NZ-Bangladesh ODI rained off

Persistent rain has forced this afternoon's (NZt) second one-day international cricket match between New Zealand and Bangladesh at Dhaka to be abandoned without a ball being bowled.

The decision to call off the match was made 2-1/2 hours after the scheduled start time of 3pm (NZt).

Bangladesh lead 1-0 in the five-match series. The third match is scheduled for Monday.
