New Zealand and the West Indies shared points after their opening match at the women's cricket World Cup was washed out at the Harlequins club in Pretoria, South Africa, this morning.
The West Indies were 18 for two in 3.4 when rain stopped play.
Natalee Scripps and Louise Milliken had knocked off the West Indian openers.
New Zealand scored 178 off their 50 overs after West Indies sent them in.
Captain Maia Lewis led the way with 77 from 148 balls but there was no real support. Nicola Browne managed 25.
