India A have won their 50-over series against New Zealand A with a game to spare.
A six-wicket win with over 11 overs unbowled has given the Indians a 2-0 lead in the three-game series in Vizakhapatnam.
New Zealand mustered only 216 from 47.2 overs, with Carl Cachopa hitting 80 and captain Andrew Ellis and Luke Ronchi, both with 34, the only other batsmen to reach 20. NZ A were 121 for five but a 68-run stand between Cachopa and Ellis revived the innings.
Left arm spinner Ashok Menaria was India's most successful bowler with five for 38.
In reply India A knocked up 217 for four from only 38.5 overs.
Unmukt Chand and Mandeep Singh each made 59, and Menaria completed a good double with an unbeaten 37.
