KEY POINTS:
New Zealand A tied their two-match cricket series against India A with a 133-run defeat of their hosts in the second match at Chennai, India this morning (NZT).
Skipper Peter Fulton handed India A a target of 234 runs after he declared New Zealand's second innings at 194 runs for 7 wickets.
James Marshall and BJ Watling helped push New Zealand score along with scores of 43 and 34 not out respectively.
Pace bowler Iain O'Brien struck twice early to leave India 2-1, removing in-form opener M Vijay and Cheteshwar Pujara for ducks.
Vijay, who scored 98 in the first innings, top-edged to Fulton at mid-off trying to pull from outside off stump and Pujara was caught in at second slip attempting to cut.
India slipped to 25-5 as the New Zealand bowlers piled on the pressure.
Bradley Scott next dismissed former test captain Sourav Ganguly, who cut his first ball to Watling at gully, and Ravindra Jadeja cheaply.
O'Brien returned to the crease to remove Wriddhiman Saha in the last over before tea for match figures of 3-30.
Nathan McCullum and Aaron Redmond shared in the spoils, also picking up two wickets each.
Fulton admitted it was a gamble to declare the innings.
"I knew it was a bit risky. But down 0-1 we had to win to draw the series.
"Once India lost two wickets at lunch, I knew we had a chance. And after the fall of Raina I realised India cannot go for the win."
