New Zealand were 155 for eight in their first innings on day two of the third cricket test against England at McLean Park here today.
Resuming at 93 for one after lunch, New Zealand collapsed to lose seven for 62 in thew middle session. Ryan Sidebottom was the chief destroyer, taking five wickets to end with six for 43.
Daniel Vettori (10) and Jeetan Patel (1) face a 98-run deficit when the final session starts.
England had scored 253 in their first innings.
