New Zealand Cricket is steering clear of making any comment regards a major flare up in the world order of the game.
The Indian Cricket Board is trying to tee up its own tour schedule for the next few years, threatening to pull out of the Champions Trophy, as well as setting up annual series against Australia.
ICC world boss Malcolm Speed says they are concerned the Indian board is placing the future tours programme in serious doubt.
The Indians are also understood to be looking at pulling out of a tour to New Zealand next summer.
Cricket officials in New Zealand will not make any comment.
National CEOs and the world board meet next month and in March to further discuss the Indian rebellion.
