A former rugby man is to take the reins of cricket in New Zealand.
New Zealand Cricket announced today that Chris Moller has been elected to replace outgoing chairman Alan Isaac.
Isaac stepped down after two years as chairman and 20 years on the board to take up the position of ICC Vice-President.
Moller has been a New Zealand Cricket board member since September 2008, having previously held roles of NZRFU CEO and Fonterra Co-operative Deputy Chief Executive.
As chairman he will be New Zealand's delegate to the International Cricket Council (ICC) Board.
"I am determined to work closely with our players, administrators, volunteers and commercial partners to drive the game forward in New Zealand," said Moller.
Moller praised Isaac for his significant contribution to New Zealand Cricket and wished him all the best in his new role.
