The Australian cricket team's new head coach is to be named this afternoon.
Cricket Australia have called a 3.15pm NZT press conference in Melbourne to unveil the new coach.
Former Test wicketkeeper and NSW coach Steve Rixon is believed to be the frontrunner, while Western Australia's South African mentor Mickey Arthur, Tom Moody and Justin Langer are also candidates.
