Former Australian wicketkeeper Rod Marsh has been appointed director of coaching at the ICC's Global Cricket Academy in Dubai.
"Rod's rich experience as a top-class international player and highly respected academy coach in England and Australia will be an invaluable asset to this exciting project," said ICC chief executive Malcolm Speed.
Marsh will provide input into the design and construction of the project before taking a hands-on role in running the academy once it is launched in 2007.
The academy will be a focal point for the training and development of players, coaches, umpires, curators and administrators.
