Cricket: Injury keeps Tuffey out

Northern Districts have given up hope on former New Zealand medium-fast bowler Daryl Tuffey playing any part in their State Shield one-day campaign.

Northern Districts said Tuffey continued to make slow progress from a bicep injury. Their sights were now set on Tuffey returning to action in the State Championship four-day competition next month.
