The New Zealand women's team named yesterday for the three one-day internationals in Australia had no surprises.
All 11 players were selected for the early-season tour of India, cancelled after the September 11 terrorist attacks in the United States.
Three players from that squad, Sarah Burke, Emily Travers and Erin McDonald, have been trimmed for the ODIs. But Travers has been named captain of the New Zealand A side to tour Australia next month.
Three members of the White Ferns, Anna Corbin, Aimee Mason and Paula Flannery, will also play for the A side in Australia.
New Zealand meet Australia in Adelaide on February 20 and 21, and the next day in Melbourne.
The A side team will play four one-dayers against the Australian Youth side.
White Ferns: Emily Drumm (capt), Kathryn Ramel (vice-capt), Anna Corbin, Paula Flannery, Aimee Mason, Anna O'Leary, Nicola Payne, Rachel Pullar, Rebecca Rolls, Haidee Watson, Helen Watson. One to be added.
NZ A: Emily Travers (capt), Aimee Mason (vice-capt), Victoria Brown, Nicola Browne, Anna Corbin, Maria Fahey, Paula Flannery, Francis King, Beth McNeill, Louise Milliken, Kate Pulford, Natalie Scripps, Nicole Thessman.
