KEY POINTS:
Matthew Hayden has been rated only a 50-50 chance of playing in the first test against the West Indies in Kingston after returning from his short stint in the Indian Premier League with an Achilles tendon injury.
Team physio Alex Kountouris said the 36-year-old opener first started to feel the injury three weeks ago while doing routine conditioning work.
While he has batted in the nets, Hayden has hardly run in the past three weeks with Kountouris likely to give him a fitness test before the start of the test at Sabina Park tomorrow.
