Stand-in Australian captain Adam Gilchrist was yesterday fined 40 per cent of his match fee for showing dissent during last week's tri-series cricket loss to South Africa in Brisbane.
At a hearing by match referee and former New Zealand captain Jeff Crowe, Gilchrist was found to have breached the International Cricket Council code of conduct.
