MUMBAI - Former New Zealand captain Stephen Fleming coached the Chennai Super Kings to the Indian Premier League (IPL) cricket title with a 22-run win over Mumbai Indians in the final today.
Chennai successfully defended 168 for five to restrict Mumbai to just 146 for nine and claim the title.
Suresh Raina was the topscorer in the final, smashing an unbeaten 57 off just 33 balls for Chennai in an innings including three fours and three sixes.
Indian great Sachin Tendulkar continued his heavy scoring at the tournament with 48 off 45 balls, but it wasn't enough for the home side.
