Stephen Fleming says he wants to look at the full report before commenting on the two-year ban on Pakistan star paceman Shoaib Akhtar for a doping offence.
The New Zealand captain said it was just another chapter in the dramatic life and times of one of cricket's biggest names.
"It's another interesting twist to an interesting scenario.
"He's always been dynamic, there's no doubt about that.
"He's an entertainer and entertainers often have positive and negative tags and his career has been one of that.
"There's always something going on. There's no doubt he's an electrifying bowler but off the field there's also been that tag with him. It will be interesting to see how this pans out."
Australian captain Ricky Ponting was hardly surprised.
"I must admit that's not a shock."
Ponting said he didn't want to comment further without knowing the full details of the case.
