England have beaten the White Ferns by 60 runs in the second ODI at Bert Sutcliffe Oval to secure an unassailable two nil lead in the best of three series.
Rain shortened the match to 26 overs a side, but the English still managed to post New Zealand a total of 224 to win.
The White Ferns opted to bowl first and managed to dismiss Laura March for just 15. From then on though it was all Charlotte Edwards who posted an incredible 137 not out after 26 overs.
Sarah Taylor was next best with 39 as England accumulated an imposing total of 224 for six.
Rachel Candy was the best of the New Zealand bowlers with figures of two for 43 from nine overs.
