MS Dhoni is one of six Indian cricketers linked to a report into a match-fixing ring in the Indian Premier League.
The six international players face investigation for their alleged roles in spot-fixing and betting in the T20 competition, according to a report released yesterday.
While the names of the players were given to the Supreme Court in a sealed cover, Indian media have reported Dhoni and fellow current international Suresh Raina are involved.
The investigation also found an official from Chennai Super Kings guilty of illegal betting. Former New Zealand captain Stephen Fleming is the current coach of the Super Kings but he has not been implicated.
Dhoni and Raina were both part of the Indian side who lost the first test to New Zealand last week. The second test starts tomorrow in Wellington.
