Cricket: Davidson gets top role

New Zealand lawyer Nicholas Davidson QC has been appointed to a top role in international cricket.

As a member of the ICC code of conduct commission and disputes resolution committee, he will deal with some of the sports biggest issues, such as match fixing.

Davidson has been deputy-chair of the New Zealand Sports Tribunal since its inception.
