Teams from the Cook Islands, Indonesia, Samoa, Tonga, Japan and Vanuatu will play a series of round-robin 50-over matches with the top two teams qualifying for division five of the ICC World Cricket League to be played next year in Jersey.
The six countries are playing for the East Asia Pacific Trophy with the teams contesting the final joining Papua New Guinea and Fiji as countries in the World Cricket League.
