The cricketing world is in mourning following the death of respected commentator and writer Peter Roebuck.
The Australian has been found dead in his hotel room in Newlands while following Australia's tour of South Africa.
Newstalk ZB and Radio Sport commentator Bryan Waddle says Roebuck also excelled on the cricket pitch.
Roebuck captained English county team Somerset in the 1980s before turning his attention to the microphone.
Mr Waddle says Roebuck is considered one of the unluckiest players to have never played for England.
