Of the six teams playing play round-robin 50-over matches in cricket's national club champs next week, only the City club from Whangarei has not appeared in previous championships.
City will be joined by Hawera (CD), Naenae (Wellington), Sydenham (Canterbury), Green Island (Otago) and hosts Cornwall, who have qualified for the first time since 2003.
The final and third-fourth play-off will be played on Sunday week.
