nzherald.co.nz has live scoring of the first test between the Black Caps and India from 11am today.
India's cricket broadcaster Sony was last night rebuffed after a cheeky bid to change the start time for today's first test against New Zealand in Hamilton.
The tour schedule had the test starting at 11am but Sony Entertainment Television, which carries the pictures of the tour to India, wanted to move it to noon.
Their argument was that a more viewer-friendly time, moving the start forward from 3.30am to 4.30am in India, would be beneficial.
However beginning at noon would increase the likelihood of play finishing early due to poor light.
New Zealand Cricket were sparing last night on specifics of the discussions, but a statement left open the possibility of changes to the start times for the second and third tests.
As it is, NZC fingers are crossed that they will get 15 fine, or at least playable, days between today and April 7, when the third test is due to finish at Wellington's Basin Reserve.
Sony has already objected to the use of former New Zealand player Craig McMillan as a commentator because of his connections with the privately run Indian Cricket League, a move backed by the Indian board.
The Board of Control for Cricket in India also forced the withdrawal of players Sachin Tendulkar and Dinesh Karthik from a warm-up Twenty20 match in Wellington last month because of the presence of another ICL-linked New Zealand player, Hamish Marshall.
