Papatoetoe go into Saturday's semifinals of Auckland Cricket's one-day competition against East Coast Bays with a special incentive to go all the way.
The club are celebrating their centenary over Waitangi Day weekend and are keen to add to their only other success - 20 years ago.
Papatoetoe, who have produced test players Roger Harris, Graham Gedye, Bob Cunis, Gary Troup and John Wright (and five women's internationals) have won the Auckland (two-day) championship eight times since 1959-60.
