Chris Cairns and Nathan Astle are among four former New Zealand cricketers to have signed with the breakaway Indian Cricket League, AFP reported today.
Allrounder Chris Harris and batsman Hamish Marshall are the other players said to have signed in a statement released by the league's organisers.
The fresh deals take the total number of international players to be aligned with the rebel league to 12.
Former test captains Brian Lara of the West Indies and Inzamam-ul-Haq of Pakistan lead the ICL list, which also includes South Africans Lance Klusener and Nicky Boje.
