It's the end of an era for Northern Districts with head coach Grant Bradburn announcing that this season's domestic one-day competition will be his final quest with the team.
"After considerable thought, I've decided it's time for me to move aside and allow the group to be refreshed with new ideas," Bradburn said.
"I have ambitions to coach at the highest level and, to achieve that, I also must keep moving forward to new challenges and experiences. I feel I am ready for that and I'm looking forward to that challenge."
The decision was not an easy one after five successful years guiding ND and having played his entire representative career for Northern Districts.
Bradburn said: "ND has been a big part of my life, as it has been for my family. I am really grateful for what ND has done for me. I have learned so much from players, mentors and staff, and I hope I have given a bit to ND. ND cricket will always be close to my heart."
