KEY POINTS:
West Indies all-rounder Marlon Samuels has denied police allegations of dealing with a bookmaker during last month's one-day cricket series in India.
"I don't do such things, man," the Times of India quoted Samuels as saying. "I have not done anything wrong. The West Indies Cricketers Association will take up the matter if necessary."
A senior Indian police official said Samuels released important team information to a bookmaker during the first one-day international in Nagpur, won by India by 14 runs.
He said there was no evidence money changed hands.
