Some of the hottest summer sporting tickets in Australia took less than two hours to sell out yesterday.
The first four days of the Ashes cricket tests between Australia and England in Sydney, Adelaide and Perth were gone by lunchtime in a buying frenzy of leftover tickets.
The second test in Perth was sold out within 35 minutes, the fifth test in Sydney inside 40 minutes and the third test in Adelaide inside two hours.
Remaining public tickets for the first test in Brisbane starting on November 23 will go on sale today, and for the fourth test in Melbourne tomorrow.
Tickets for the VB one-day series, when New Zealand join the Ashes combatants in January, are available.
