Auckland wicketkeeper/batsman Reece Young is to move to Canterbury next season.
Young, 30, has spent his entire first-class career with Auckland, which totals 94 matches stretching back to 1998-99.
The departure of Canterbury gloveman Kruger van Wyk to Central Districts and the desire to chase the test wicketkeeping spot vacated by Brendon McCullum were factors in his decision.
