Auckland have named a preliminary squad of 26 to prepare for the Champions League T20 in September.
The list includes all those involved in the victorious HRV Cup campaign this season.
Both imports from English counties, left-hand opener Jimmy Adams and former Auckland-based seamer Andre Adams, are in, as is Victorian batsman Rob Quiney, who qualified by being rushed across for the final round-robin game against Central Districts.
Details of the tournament are yet to be released.
Twelve teams, drawn from England, Australia, the West Indies, Sri Lanka, South Africa and India will compete in the league in India from September 23 to October 7.
The squad will be trimmed to 20 on July 10 and the list of the final 15 to compete in the tournament is due out on August 9.
Otago and Central Districts have been New Zealand's representatives in the last two editions of the league. Neither side won a match.
