KEY POINTS:
Auckland snatched a miracle four-wicket victory from what appeared certain defeat in their Twenty20 cricket match against Northern Districts at Seddon Park in Hamilton yesterday.
Needing 12 runs to win with one ball remaining, Northern Districts bowler Graeme Aldridge bowled a waist-high full toss to Andre Adams which was ruled a no ball.
Adams struck it for four and the two extra runs for the no ball meant six was required to win off the extra delivery.
Adams duly sent it sailing high over the long off boundary, to the dismay of the hosts, who were defending 160 for four.
Auckland finished 161 for six with a probable place in the final.
