New Zealand cricketer Andre Adams has been suspended for one domestic match after an incident in a State Championship game this week.
Auckland allrounder Adams was charged with physical assault after grabbing the helmet of Central Districts batsman Bevan Griggs, shaking the grill and cutting his lip during the match at Eden Park's Outer Oval.
He was suspended by a code of conduct commissioner in Auckland and will miss Auckland's last round State Championship match next week.
Adams, 31, missed the cut for the New Zealand squad to contest the World Cup starting in the West Indies next week.
