The Auckland Aces will have newly-crowned Sir Richard Hadlee medal winner Chris Martin, Martin Guptill and Kyle Mills available for their second round Plunket Shield game against Canterbury in Rangiora next week.
All three players will be looking to help the Aces to a second win in the competition while also getting valuable game time before the looming test series in Australia.
The Aces travel to the South Island on the back of a thrillng win in Whangarei against Northern Districts this week and sit on top of the table, albeit after only one round.
Aces coach Paul Strang was excited about having his Black Caps available, even if it was for just one game.
"Martin [Guptill] was obviously in great form in Zimbabwe and to add international quality bowlers like Chris [Martin] and Kyle [Mills] to our bowling attack is a real bonus.''
