Fourteen-year-old Munokoa Tunupopo's brillant run out of the Wellington No 3 Jane Hunter-Sui was the turning point for Auckland's 12-run victory in the State Insurance Cup women's cricket match at Eden Park yesterday. The Auckland Girls Grammar student picked up on the run near the boundary and with a throw that belied her size placed the ball over the bails to have Hunter-Sui stranded by a few centimetres just when Wellington were threatening to take control. Auckland scored 221 from their 50 overs with two internationals, Shelley Fruin, 79, and Clare Nicholson, 27, playing key roles. Wellington fell behind the run rate and finished with 209 for nine wickets.
