KEY POINTS:
Brendon McCullum blazed one of the most extraordinary innings of modern times, as New Zealand waltzed to a 10 wicket win in the final one-dayer against Bangladesh in Christchurch.
McCullum blugeoned 51 from 19 balls, the fastest half-century in New Zealand ODI history and the fifth fastest in ODI history, and finished on 80 not out off 28 balls.
Chasing Bangladesh's paltry 93, New Zealand reached the target in just six overs.
Earlier, Bangladesh imploded to be all out in the 38th over. New Zealand captain Daniel Vettori was the main destroyer with a career best five for seven from six overs.
Spinner Vettori, who earlier sent Bangladesh in to bat, also eclipsed Chris Harris as New Zealand's leading ODI wicket taker, ending the innings with 207, four ahead of his former teammate.
Vettori will also end 2007 as cricket's most successful bowler for the calendar year with 43 victims, three clear of Indian paceman Zaheer Khan.
Captain Mohammad Ashraful top-scored for Bangladesh with 25.
