KEY POINTS:
Stephen Fleming has ended a long and prosperous career representing New Zealand at test cricket when he was dismissed for 66. His last innings at McLean Park was ended after he edged a ball off Monty Panesar to wicket-keeper Tim Ambrose.
His 66 runs also gave him an average of over 40 and although Fleming has said 40 is just a number, it is the icing on the cake of an impressive record that includes three double centuries.
