Former Black Caps coach Andy Moles has interviewed to be the new cricket coach of India.
Cricinfo reports the BCCI has carried out interviews with around seven candidates and is expected to make a decision in the coming days.
Moles, who has since coached Afghanistan, led New Zealand to the 2009 Champions Trophy final before resigning a fortnight later over irreconcilable differences with senior players.
He was just one year into a three year deal.
Cricinfo reports other candidates who were interviewed include Anil Kumble , Ravi Shastri, Tom Moody and Stuart Law.
