Australian fast bowler Glenn McGrath took his 26th five-wicket bag in test cricket as Australia dismissed New Zealand for 433 midway through the second day of the first test in Christchurch today.
New Zealand lost their last five wickets for 45 after Nathan Astle fell leg before wicket to McGrath for 74 soon after the lunch break.
McGrath took the last six wickets to fall, ending with figures of six for 115 off 42 overs in his 107th test.
Hamish Marshall top scored for New Zealand with 146 in just his third test innings.
