Kane Williamson is currently training in the United Kingdom with Yorkshire ahead of the Black Caps limited-overs tour of Zimbabwe and South Africa next month.
The 24-year-old starred in New Zealand's recent tour of England and he's returned to Headingley, after playing for the county in the last two years.
He was part of Yorkshire's County Championship winning side in 2014 and he will leave for Africa on July 23 to meet up with the Black Caps, before returning to play in the UK for the end of their domestic season.
He told a local paper - the Telegraph and Argus - that he'd been on holiday since the Black Caps tour finished on June 23.
"I thought I'd stay on. My partner's here, so I thought I'd have a little bit of a holiday.
After a couple of weeks off, I've just started getting back into work, getting involved with the lads and preparing for our series.
